Financial Considerations
We’re serving the Lord by faith and, likewise, trusting Him to meet our
needs. Therefore, we do not charge a set fee for Michael’s speaking and
teaching. We view every opportunity God puts before us as a chance to minister
to the body of Christ. That being said, and since the worker deserves his
wages (Luke 10:7), we are aware of the reality of the business side of
things. May we then suggest the following options as you consider the most
appropriate means of compensation?
(1) Free will offering. Should you decide to take up
a free will offering, please prepare your people to give at a designated time
of your choosing (e.g., we would recommend after Michael speaks). Please don’t
deduct any expenses from it; just allow it to be an expression of their love
and appreciation to the Lord and to us for our ministry.
(2) Honorarium. Conference ministries and similar
organizations generally allocate a budgeted amount for honorarium; churches
often do the same. This amount is not for us to negotiate. We will simply leave
the matter between the leaders who are organizing the event and the Lord.
Expenses
We ask that those who invite Michael to speak agree to cover the following
expenses:
- Transportation
- Lodging
- Meals
- Incidentals
What Others are Saying:
“Michael Craven is a rare breed. In a
world divided by too many 'either/or' thinkers, Craven is a cultural
apologist seeking to be biblically 'both/and'. He is passionate about
truth and loves the lost. He is a man of conviction and humility. He is
deeply committed to historic orthodoxy and also wants to reach this
generation. Craven is a modern-day prophet on a mission to call
Christians in our post-Christian society to live as disciples under the
Lordship of Christ in all spheres of life. May the Lord continue to use
him mightily and may the Lord multiply his number many times over!”
-Kyle Queal, Headmaster, The Covenant School of Dallas
“The 'Sexualization of America' is a highly informative
presentation of the philosophical and spiritual underpinnings of America's
moral decline. Michael has done extensive research on the factors contributing
to the erosion of moral decency in our nation. His presentation clearly
delineates the devastating spiritual and national consequences awaiting all
Americans if this destructive trend is not reversed. Listening to Michael
reminded me of listening to Francis Schaeffer. Every person and pastor
concerned about the sexual exploitation of our country needs to hear this
lecture.”
-Daryl Wilson, Senior Pastor, Park Springs Bible Church
“Michael’s sobering message to our Friday morning men’s
group was one of the most powerful I have ever heard. Michael is clearly
anointed to equip the Body with an essential understanding of the great battles
facing the Church today. Michael offers a rare perspective on the culture that
I believe would benefit every Christian today.”
-Steve Smith, Minister of Pastoral Counseling, Prestonwood Baptist Church
“Your presentation
[Where the Battle Rages] was a significant experience for me. I
have already begun discussing ways we can partner at Park Cities for the sake
of our men and community.”
-Dr. James Dennison, Senior Pastor, Park Cities Baptist Church
“Michael, I just wanted to tell you how blessed &
spiritually touched I was by your messages this past weekend at our McFBC Men's
Retreat in Pine Cove. Your sermons have had a big impact on me and how I intend
to think about and react to non-believers that I come into contact with to
share the Word with.”
-Glenn, McKinney Fellowship Bible Church
