Joining a Christian Roundtable Group

Participation in the Christian Roundtable program is a unique opportunity. Participation is by invitation and therefore considered a privilege. Members are allowed to participate in the program only after completing a thorough qualification process.

Therefore we have developed a very specific four-step process for new members to join the program:

  • Step 1 - Referral or Invitation

Prospective members are generally referred to us through current members or recruited by our staff. You can also initiate the process by completing our online application. If you are just now learning about Christian Roundtables and want to know more, please feel free to contact S. Michael Craven at 972.596.6948 or by email at: michael@battlefortruth.org. If you are interested in forwarding information about Christian Roundtables to someone, please direct them to this website.

  • Step 2 - Private Briefing/Meeting

This Private Briefing is conducted with S. Michael Craven, president of the Center for Christ & Culture. This presentation usually lasts 90-minutes. A complete and detailed overview of the Christian Roundtable program is given. Attendance at this presentation and/or meeting does not guarantee qualification to participate in the program. Upon completion of the Private Briefing, prospective members indicate whether they are interested in going to Step 3 - the Qualification Interview.

Candidates for membership may be invited to visit a local Roundtable meeting, at no cost with no obligation. If candidates do visit a local Roundtable meeting, they will be required to sign a Confidentiality Statement as a guest.

  • Step 3 - Qualification Interview

If a candidate indicates interest in joining a Christian Roundtable Group, a final qualification interview will be scheduled. This 30-45 minute structured interview usually occurs within one week of the Private Briefing/Meeting. This interview is designed to determine if the program is right for the prospect and if the prospect qualifies for participation. If both parties agree, the prospect is invited to complete the registration online, thereby joining a Christian Roundtable Group.

  • Step 4 - Attend Your First Meeting

As new members are enrolled into the program, a Welcome Kit is provided, including login instructions for the online portal where they will have access to a wealth of resources and tools. Members start attending monthly Christian Roundtable meetings to build relationships with other group members and become acclimated on the program, materials and format.

On average, new members usually attend their first monthly roundtable group meeting within 30- 45 days after attending the Private Briefing.

One of the strengths of this program is a highly motivated and committed membership--committed to Christ, their profession, their family, and each other--therefore all members are required to sign a Statement of Faith and Membership Commitment Form prior to attending their first Roundtable Group Meeting.
