The Center for Christ &
Culture is rooted in the ecumenical confessions and creeds of the earliest
Christian churches (e.g., Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed). The
ministry is also firmly committed to the Scriptures as the infallible Word of
God and in essential agreement with the confessional standards of the sixteenth
century Protestant Reformation. The conviction of the ministry is that genuine
spiritual awakening, of the kind seen in the First Great Awakening, wedded
to the doctrinal convictions of historic Christian faith and practice, is needed
in this generation.
